My Cruisin Guys from left to right:
Coal, Fancy, Diva & new member - Ebony - Australian Shepherds
I started training and showing in obedience around 1982 when I bought my first registered dog, a Corgi. After taking obedience lessons I was decided this was the sport for me. For the next few years I bred and trained Corgis until the Australian Shepherd was recognized by CKC in January of 1992. I love the intelligence and enthusiasm of the Aussie. Since then I have owned and shown mostly Aussies and am now a breeder under the kennel name of "Cruisin"
When the sport of agility started to catch on in Alberta, I thought I would try it to see what everyone was raving about. I fell in love with the sport. My Aussies love the time I spend training them and do very well in the ring. Since starting this sport I have trained 7 dogs most of them to the Elite level . Presently I am running 3 dogs - both Fancy & Coal are now in Elite and Ebony has started her agility career in the new Intro class for young dogs . I will also like to welcome Riley my Border Collie to our home of Aussies. New pictures to come shortly.
I encourage you to come out and try this fun sport, you will love it and so will your dog.
